An open letter to PHCN

In this era of open letters, I decided to join the league of 'open letterians';
Dear PHCN, in our bid to frustrate the efforts of BH during this world cup season, we the football fans in Northern Nigeria have decided to love our lives more than the game, we have resolved to shun football viewing centres and restrain ourselves within the confines of our homes;

So how dare you! How dare you make little of our sacrifices and deny us of power supply at such crucial moments as the match periods? Oh what audacious audacity to 'take light' at the beginning of the match! It is the height of insensitivity to switch off our supply just as the penalty was to be taken!

Please PHCN, respect yourselves!
No restraining order will stop us from taking to the streets and protesting your unpatriotic actions.
To be forewarned............
Yours sincerely,

  1. U r quite lucky. U still had light for some minutes during the match. We avnt had light for over 2 weeks. PHCN gives us light only on Sundays. And thats for about 4-6 hours. Other days, they just "flash" it and the stabilizer doesn't even come on b4 they "take" it again.
    My dear, take solace in generator and inverter jare.
    Luckily it's the rainy season, so nature helps to ward off the heat.
